Porto is known not only for outstanding architecture but also for numerous churches. Every one of them has its history and attracts visitors. However, there is no such Church as Lapa, also known by the Portuguese as Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Lapa, which contains the remnants of the Portuguese king Dom Pedro IV.
